The Opportunity We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and enthusiastic person to join our team.
Grace has a highly regarded and active Co-curricular Performing Arts program within Grace Academy and is currently seeking a Strings Music Instructor on a casual basis, supported by our Director and administrative support staff.
About youThis position would suit someone with a commitment to the ethos, Christian values, and teachings of the College.
The suitable candidate will also have:
Formal qualifications at degree level, relevant to the positionCurrent drivers licence (C class) and own transportAbility to teach Primary and Secondary studentsAbility to teach Dept of Education Instrumental Music CurriculumAbility to prepare students for external examinations (ie AMEB/Trinity)Preference for lower strings specialist but ability to teach upper stringsExperience in teaching in both a group and private lesson contextDemonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in music educationWorking with Children accreditation (Blue Card) or ability to obtain this accreditationAbout UsGrace Lutheran College is a large two-campus, co-educational secondary school with a strong history of excellent education.
