What you will do?
As part of the Legal and Governance team you will:
Provide legal advice on corporate transactions and strategic projects and new initiatives.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.Provide legal advice on issues including competition and consumer law, IP and brand protection.Provide legal advice on privacy and data security across IDP's global business.Support IDP on ASX corporate governance issues.Manage disputes in conjunction with external counsel.Participate in innovation and continuous improvement of processes to improve the way IDP operates.Internal Collaboration: Governance and Legal TeamRegional and Business Unit leadsAustralasian businessFinance and strategyExternal Collaboration: Law firmsRegulatorsAuditorsThis is your chance to drive real change and influence across the globe.
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and commercially minded lawyer with a global outlook to join our Corporate office as a senior lawyer.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across IDP's global operations.
Reporting to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, you will be part of a diverse Legal and Governance team that's spread across the globe.
You will play a key role in helping implement IDP's global strategy and acting as a key business partner on major strategic projects that have real impact.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop other members of the Legal and Governance team.
