Job Responsibilities :Contribute to advanced cell and gene therapy clinical trial processes.Collaborate with top researchers in translational medicine.Drive compliance through quality assurance activities and routine testing.Support quality management and operations for innovative cell and gene therapy manufacturing and clinical trials at SCGT.Employment Type : Temporary Full Time / Temporary Part Time (Up to 12 months)Position Classification : Health Manager Level 1Remuneration : $84,436 - $112,331 per annum / $42.58 - $56.65 per hourHours Per Week : 38 / 28.5Location : Westmead HospitalWhere you'll be working :Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.
We are committed to our vision of 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' and to the delivery of health care or related services in line with our core values of collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment.What you'll be doing :Sydney Cell and Gene Therapy (SCGT) is a joint venture of translational researchers involved in the development of advanced therapeutics in the areas of cellular therapy, antibiotic resistance, islet transplantation, and gene therapy.The Quality Officer will support operational and quality management activities related to cell and gene therapy product manufacture and clinical trials.How to Apply :Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Selection Criteria :Bachelor of Science Degree in the physical or biological sciences or extensive equivalent experience.Demonstrated experience in clinical research or clinical service provision, in biological or pharmaceutical development, and experience in quality assurance.Understanding of regulatory requirements for cell and gene therapies.Excellent organisational, record keeping and project management skills.Advanced computer system skills and experience with electronic quality management software such as Q-Pulse (Ideagen).Proven excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment.Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.Requisition ID : REQ537072Applications Close : 5th January 2025Please be aware : Due to the Christmas / New Year period, there may be a delay in the progress of your application.
