Overview
Foot Locker is looking for someone who can elevate our brand in Australia and New Zealand.
You will lead our content team, create next level campaign concepts and improve our brand presence via design implementation and photography oversight.
Reporting to the APAC Senior Director, Marketing, you will be capable of flexing between overseeing the process and output of a team of 3 designers reporting to you, plus be able to "jump on the tools" when needed, whether that is for design needs or to manage photography production with external partners.
This is an ideal role for an experienced designer looking to take their creative impact to a next level, or for an agency side Creative Director or Art Director who wants to apply their skills in a business and brand embedded in the sneaker, youth and basketball culture.
Responsibilities Design and art direction - execute and manage digital, motion and print output.Creative leadership - lead, upskill and inspire a team of designers to elevate the Foot Locker brand across all touchpoints.Partner-facing - collaborate with brand partners (e.g.
Nike, adidas, Jordan, Asics, New Balance, Under Armour and Puma) and external creative agencies on various scales of project execution across digital, experiential, store and integrated campaigns.Creative adaptability - navigate between conceptualising to pitching to a partner, leveraging existing assets and learning from media colleagues to optimise creative performance.Production and process management - manage brief input tools, stakeholder expectations, and balance a variety of briefs whilst maintaining a weekly business communication content schedule.Photography and video production oversight - manage lifestyle shoots, larger campaign productions in partnership with brand colleagues and recommended improvements.Financial administration - managing invoices, forecasting costs and coordinating supply of deliverables within budget.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Advertising (or related field)Minimum eight (8) years marketing experienceTwo plus (2+) years in a leadership roleOmni-Channel retail experience (desirable)Experience driving customer acquisition and retentionExperience with brand strategy, campaign briefing and managementExperience with all physical and digital touchpoints ranging from store to e-comm to media to CRM and video (some motion graphics skills desirable)Financially disciplined and organised operatorEnthusiastic, motivated, innovative, creative team player with a love of sneakers, and an avid follower of sneaker and basketball cultureBenefits Annual performance-based bonus + car allowanceA flexible hybrid working environmentExcellent staff discounts on Foot Locker products – Nike, Adidas, ASICS and many moreFree on-site parkingAccess for you and your immediate family to our Employee Assistance ProgramFree access to Wellhub (Gympass)An inclusive and supportive team cultureIf this opportunity is of interest to you, click the 'Apply' button below including a cover letter outlining your strengths for the role and an up-to-date resume.
