Director of Sales & Marketing - Wollongong's Sleekest Hotel As the DOSM of this recently refreshed hotel, you'll lead efforts to grow the client base, foster strong relationships with key partners, and oversee the conference, events, and group functions to ensure revenue and occupancy objectives are exceeded
The Role:
Design and implement innovative sales strategies aimed at hitting revenue goals and increasing market reach.
Actively seek and develop new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group reservations, and events.
Strengthen relationships with current clients and partners to encourage repeat business and enhance client satisfaction.
Conduct thorough market research and analyse competitors to remain up-to-date with industry trends and adjust plans accordingly.
Partner with the marketing team to craft impactful promotional content and marketing campaigns.
Oversee the sales budget, forecast future sales trends, and monitor key performance metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
Represent the hotel at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to boost the hotel's visibility and brand reputation.
Collaborate across hotel departments to ensure the seamless delivery of services and meet client expectations.
Candidate Profile:
Proven experience in hotel sales management is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage key stakeholders.
Professional presentation and grooming are required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and solve problems effectively.
Experience with PMS and IVVY systems is advantageous.
