Fremantle Arts Centre is a major multi-disciplinary contemporary arts organisation in Western Australia.
Housed in an extraordinary gothic heritage building and lush leafy grounds, our annual program includes contemporary visual arts exhibitions, a diverse range of multi-disciplinary performance, music, and conversations.
Working from the Fremantle Arts Centre, the Precinct Coordinator is responsible for site & event management to enable successful, quality, and sustainable delivery of arts & cultural experiences in Walyalup.
Key responsibilities include: Ensure FAC is a welcoming, accessible, and high functioning physical space for artists, communities, audiences, program participants, and visitors.Ensure that FAC is safe, compliant, high functioning, and a positive work environment, operating with clear and consistent policies, workplace safety and health, procedures, and contractual agreements in place.Schedule and manage all operational requirements with City staff & contractors, including building maintenance & new site works.Coordinate purchasing, maintenance, and storage of all grounds machinery, equipment, and consumables.Supervise venue access for contractor requirements and assist with event builds.To be considered for this position, you will need: Effective time management, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; experience developing plans and schedules.Knowledge of current risk management processes and procedures.A formal qualification and/or significant experience in horticulture and/or maintenance.Working knowledge of technical equipment used in events and grounds maintenance.The City of Fremantle promotes a workplace that actively seeks to include, welcome, and value unique contributions of all people.
