It requires creativity, diversity of ideas and backgrounds, and building trust to effect change and move with speed.ABOUT THE POSITIONReporting to the Vice President for Project Management APAC, the Head of Projects - ANZ will:Proactively lead and manage Project Delivery in Australia and New Zealand, providing strong leadership from project management, contract development, execution to successful handover to Services.Direct the development of near and long-term resource planning with functional teams to ensure high quality, safe, and well-managed project installations.Be responsible for the P&L across all Fluence projects in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to customer satisfaction.Manage complex stakeholder relationships and maintain a customer-focused communication style.Provide leadership and guidance to the project management team in the ANZ organization.Work with customers, suppliers, partners, and senior management to ensure full life-cycle project deliverables are met.Participate in business improvement projects and liaise with the Australian Leadership team.Support the Sales teams in project development and tendering.Assess and manage risks associated with projects, ensuring lessons learnt and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with Fluence Delegation of Authority and support audits and corrective actions for ANZ.What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?Degree as a state-certified technical engineer with 10+ years of experience in renewable energy, including 5 years as Project Director.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Proven ability to build and manage operational teams for complex project delivery.Experience in the renewable sector is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal skills to motivate others and manage conflicts.Outstanding communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Experience managing Senior Project Managers and building high-performing organizations.Deep knowledge of project management, construction management, engineering, and related industry practices.Highly collaborative team player fostering open communication and cooperation.Proven ability to balance conflicting priorities across multiple business units.Self-directed individual able to work in a fast-paced environment.Proven track record of success in Project Management.Experience creating and managing integrated timelines and budgets.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project).Strong communicator and relationship builder who earns trust and respect.APPLYFluence uses LinkedIn Talent Hub to manage our recruitment process.
