About The Role As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant, you will provide personalised support to older Australians who reside around the Ballina area.
This is a permanent part time opportunity with approximately 30 hours available each week between the hours of 7am and 7pm with some potential weekend shifts (no sleep over shifts).
You will be required to travel around the Ballina areas as you will support multiple clients a day within their home.
Key Responsibilities Domestic assistance such as meal preparation and light house cleaningCommunity access to medical appointments and social activitiesPersonal Care including grooming and showeringSupporting with tasks and routinesBuild positive relationships with clientsSkills & Experience Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing communityAn Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insuranceStrong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationshipsA current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)Successful candidates will be required to clear a National Criminal History Record Check and complete an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
