DI Sign Group, a well-established and proudly Melbourne-based custom fabrication and illuminated signage business, is experiencing high growth.
With a high-profile national client base and demand for quality manufacturing and high-end finishes, we are looking for an experienced Production Manager with signage experience to join our team.
Based in our modern manufacturing facility in Mordialloc , you will join a diverse, talented, close-knit team with an excellent culture, focused on producing the highest quality in the signage industry.
The Role Reporting directly to our Managing Director, you will utilize your existing production skills and supervisory experience, as well as further development via working with our highly skilled team of tradespeople and management.
This role is a pivotal part of the success of the business.
In this dynamic and integral role, you will focus on:
Be the main support to the Managing Director Manage and coordinate the entire production workflow, from planning to delivery Lead the factory floor of 12+ staff Work autonomously and manage day-to-day production operations Schedule daily production workflow and dispatch Manage outsourced items quality and timing Daily allocation of staff time to complete jobs on schedule, and to a high standard Staff training Performance management of staff including attendance, efficiencies, quality, and behavior Strong leadership skills are required.
This is a hands-on production role drawing on your years of experience and high level of quality sign making skills.
Your Skills and Experience: You will bring a combination of the following skills and experience:
5+ years experience in the signage industry 5+ years experience in a Production Manager role or similar Vast knowledge of signage fabrication and assembly Previous experience with all signage, finishes, and materials Previous experience in reading and understanding engineering drawings Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating confidence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the business A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes Flexible with the ability to problem solve and resolve issues in a timely manner with initiative Outstanding organizational skills, a strong ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple deadlines Strong attention to detail and proactive Takes pride in their workmanship and strives to be the best they can Benefits of working with us: At Di Sign Group, we offer:
