Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North RydeThe Role Macquarie University is recruiting for two new Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Partner vacancies that will effectively contribute to the development of plans and initiatives for programs that the University offers for courses and units.
Reporting to the Manager – Experiential Education, you will work closely with Faculties to provide tailored advice, support and insights for the design, development and optimisation of WIL activities that support the educational experience and employability of students.
These Faculties include the Faculty of Arts (FoA), Macquarie Business School (MQBS), Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) and Faculty of Medicine, Health and Human Sciences (FMHHS).
To Apply To be considered for this position, please apply online and attach your resume and a separate cover letter that outlines how you meet the selection criteria below: A tertiary qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent relevant experience.Expertise and sustained experience delivering excellence in Work Integrated Learning, combined with strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment.Extensive track record of driving the design and optimisation of programs and initiatives in Work Integrated Learning, including optimising quality and efficiency through procedures, systems and processes.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to liaise with and provide advice and support to academic staff, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts.Work hours may vary from time to time to accommodate business needs.
