So, what's the role?
As our Operational Excellence Lead, you'll work closely with senior leaders to define and deliver our transformation agenda.
You'll lead a team helping to design a continuous improvement roadmap, identify opportunities for growth, and drive positive change across the bank.
Your ability to partner with stakeholders, leverage digital solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be key to our success.
In a typical day, you will get involved in:
Partnering with senior leaders to design and execute a continuous improvement roadmap and shape the bank's transformation agenda.
Reviewing the bank's operating model to identify areas of opportunity and build a program of work to drive positive change.
Leading workshops and facilitating discussions to align teams on objectives, understand current challenges, and model future-state solutions.
Collaborating with Technology to identify digital solutions that simplify and optimise processes and systems.
Coaching and developing change agents to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities across the organisation.
Managing stakeholder relationships to overcome resistance, drive change, and ensure benefits realisation.
About you
You are an experienced leader with a strong background in operational excellence, process improvement, and agile methodologies.
Your ability to think strategically while balancing everyday challenges is paired with exceptional relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
You thrive in transforming operating models and empowering teams to succeed.
You will come equipped with:
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Accreditation in HCD, Lean, Six Sigma or Agile methodologies.
Proven experience in operational excellence or process improvement roles within the banking industry within Agile ways of working.
Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop high performing teams
Demonstrated success in maturing operating models to improve service delivery.
A passion for digital transformation and an understanding of core banking processes and technology.
Knowledge of core banking processes, technology and strategic partners within the banking industry would be an advantage.
