General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time
About the Role
We are looking for a visionary and results-driven General Manager to lead Intelligent Home and Wesco Residential into their next phase of growth.
As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of both companies, from strategic planning to operational execution, ensuring financial and business goals are met while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of two respected brands in the residential technology and electrical services sectors.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth, profitability, and business success for both companies.Lead, mentor, and support senior managers across various divisions to ensure alignment with company goals.Oversee the financial performance, budgeting, and reporting across all business activities, including preparing financial reports and forecasts.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, industry partners, and stakeholders.Champion service excellence and innovation, ensuring the companies remain competitive and progressive in the market.Develop and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture across all divisions, supporting staff recruitment and professional development.Manage operational activities, including payroll, health and safety, and adherence to work practices and procedures.Source and implement new products, services, and innovations to add value to the business.Assist in developing a corporate philosophy that serves business and community needs for future success.Experience and Personal Skills Proven track record in senior management or executive roles, ideally within technology, services, and building-related industries.Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities.Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire staff at all levels.A strategic thinker capable of developing actionable plans from high-level vision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships both internally and externally.Experience in driving change, fostering a culture of innovation, and creating long-term value for an organisation.What We Offer An executive-level remuneration package commensurate with responsibilities and experience.A pivotal role in shaping the future of two well-established companies.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A collaborative and forward-thinking workplace culture.If you are a strategic leader with a passion for driving business success, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
