Territory Rent A Car Pty Ltd operates the Thrifty Car Rental franchise in the Northern Territory and Kimberley region of WA with offices in Yulara, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Darwin, Kununurra and Broome.
The company operates a large fleet of passenger and commercial vehicles.

Thrifty Car Rental is seeking to employ a suitable person to fill the position of Darwin Operations Manager.
The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our three Darwin locations and our Katherine location.

Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate staff Self-motivated and able to use initiative Experience in a customer product or services sales industry Excellent written and oral communication skills Highly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritise work tasks, meet strict deadlines, seek guidance when required but work with minimal supervision Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records Able to set goals Display initiative Create an excellent workplace culture Current full NT driver's license Previous management or senior supervisory experience in car rental or a similar industry is a distinct advantage.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Darwin and Katherine locations, including rostering, allocation of vehicles, delivering exceptional customer service, rate setting, sales, and administration.
Provide leadership and guidance to all staff.
Identify and improve processes that lead to better performance and productivity.
Work with the Business Development Manager to acquire new corporate customer accounts and manage existing customer relationships.
Increase revenue and profitability by having the appropriate rate pricing, high vehicle utilization, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Report on business activities and performance as required.
Oversee the training and upskilling of staff.
Ensure that O.H & S practices are followed as well as all company policy and procedures.
Other duties as directed by the CEO.
