We are seeking a Regional Financial Controller to join our Brisbane team.
In this key leadership role, you will act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, drive financial performance, and ensure governance and compliance across Oceania region.

What You'll Do
As Regional Financial Controller , you will be responsible for providing financial visibility, securing timely, accurate financial reporting, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving operational excellence.
You'll collaborate with divisional controllers, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver key financial insights and influence business decisions.
Business Partnering:
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing insights, risk analysis, and performance management to support decision-making and business development.
Financial Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting, including profitability analysis, KPIs, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with the financial controllers and accounting team to meet corporate deadlines.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting:
Support strategic and operational planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and investment proposals.
Translate objectives into capacity planning and investment strategies for the region.
Performance Management:
Monitor and analyze financial performance, review service hour rates, tariffs, and utilization, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and tax requirements.
Work with financial controllers and tax consultants to support audits and maintain internal controls.
Process Improvement:
Drive operational excellence by initiating and implementing improvements in management reporting, business processes, and organizational effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical skills with expertise in accounting, performance management, and project accounting.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive financial performance.
Confident in working independently and communicating across all levels of the organization.
Service-oriented, with a global perspective and ability to manage change effectively.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience: CPA or CA qualified with a tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in financial controlling, business partnering, forecasting, and planning.
Strong experience in an industrial or engineering environment is preferred.
Proficiency in ERP and BI tools, with practical experience in project accounting and financial analysis.
