We're seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Brisbane, Australia.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Regional Financial Controller and a small finance team to manage financial accounting, compliance, and reporting.
You'll also liaise with tax consultants and payroll service providers, making an impact every day.Who Are We?Marel is the leading global provider of advanced processing systems and services for the poultry, meat, and fish industries.

With over 7,500 employees in 32 countries, we are united by our values: Unity, Innovation, and Excellence.What You'll Be DoingAs a Financial Accountant, you'll:Process month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare end-of-month and year-end financial statements.Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.Ensure tax compliance and prepare monthly BAS, GST, and FBT returns.Liaise with tax consultants and provide information for tax and company returns.Oversee intercompany reconciliations.Audit financial transactions to substantiate documentation.Assist with management information reports.Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller as needed.What's in It for You?At Marel, you'll find a workplace where your contributions are valued and your career can thrive.
