Location ProfileCranbourne East Secondary College (CESC), located in the Hunt Club Estate, was established in 2011.
The College is approximately 55 kilometers south-east from Melbourne CBD.
As a Public Private Partnership school, we continue to experience rapid enrolment growth, with a year 7-12 enrolment exceeding 2150 students in 2024.
The Cranbourne East community is very multicultural, with a significant number of students born overseas.
Students from refugee backgrounds make up approximately 9.7% of the entire cohort and 1% of students are indigenous.
The College currently has 173 full-time staff, including a Principal, Assistant Principals, Learning Specialists, Leading Teachers, teaching staff, and Education Support staff.

RoleThe objective of learning specialists is to improve the skill, knowledge, and performance of the teaching workforce and the curriculum program of a school.
Learning Specialists will be highly skilled classroom practitioners who deliver high-quality teaching and learning and have responsibilities related to their expertise.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
Plan and lead learning area team meetings.Model and support the use of the CESC Inquiry Cycle.Support, mentor, and coach teachers to improve teaching practice.Undertake learning walks to collect evidence of teaching practice.Lead the staff professional learning program.Analyse whole school data and ensure evidence-based intervention programs are implemented.Effectively manage resources, including budgets.Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum areas.
