Pinot & Picasso, the leading paint and sip provider in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, is seeking a talented Company Accountant to join their team in Penrith, NSW.
As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the financial management and reporting functions of the business, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounts.
Our roles and responsibilities are very standard, however your level of enjoyment, job satisfaction and growth opportunities are very unique
What you'll be doing Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reportsMaintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulationsAssist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the company's strategic decision-makingLiaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filingsProvide financial analysis and recommendations to the management team to enhance business performanceContribute to the continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and systemsMentor and supervise the work of junior accounting staff, as required.What we're looking for We are out to make the world more creative, therefore, you play a crucial role in this pursuit.
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail or hospitality industryOutstanding in the use of Xero.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insightsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial recordsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersWhat we offer At Pinot & Picasso, we believe in nurturing our employees' growth and well-being.
