Pinot & Picasso, the leading paint and sip provider in Australia, New Zealand and the UK, is seeking a talented Company Accountant to join their team in Penrith, NSW.
As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in the financial management and reporting functions of the business, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounts.
Our roles and responsibilities are very standard, however your level of enjoyment, job satisfaction and growth opportunities are very unique
What you'll be doing
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the company's strategic decision-making Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the management team to enhance business performance Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting policies, procedures, and systems Mentor and supervise the work of junior accounting staff, as required.
What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail or hospitality industry Outstanding in the use of Xero.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders What we offer
