Head of Digital Service & Network, ITFremantle campusFull-time opportunity, Continuing contract (Open for internal applicants only)Join a national university committed to excellence in education, scholarship and researchSupportive Staff and work environmentLevel 10 $136,910 pa (Base) Fremantle + 14.25% superannuationAbout the universityThe University of Notre Dame Australia is a private Catholic University with over 1,000 permanent staff providing an exceptional educational experience to over 12,000 students across our Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses, as well as clinical schools in Victoria and New South Wales.About the officeThe Information Technology Office plays an integral role in the success of the University ensuring the national provision of technology solutions that enable Learning & Teaching, Research and Administration across our University.The Information Technology Office embeds an operating model with a view to enabling a greater level of engagement across the University, proactively serving as trusted advisors in the identification and prioritisation of continuous improvement initiatives and the delivery of digital technology change, whilst ensuring the ongoing availability of the IT environment.About the roleThe Head of Digital Services & Network is responsible for ensuring that the technology used to deliver and support business services is fit for purpose and meets the expectations of relevant stakeholders.
This role is focused on continuous improvement of university services through the identification of opportunities and risk, and in the development of solutions to improve overall enterprise service management.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate emerging trends in technology in higher education and identify opportunities to adopt new digital solutions.Lead the service delivery team in delivering a high-quality digital experience to users from across the University.Development of business cases for future digital services that are based on sound assumptions (including TCO, cost-benefit analysis, ROI and business value).Establish an effective continuous improvement framework and practices to enable both strategic and tactical enhancements to the Universities digital experience.Qualifications, skills & experienceRelevant post graduate tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or relevant discipline, or equivalent substantial experience working in a similar role.Experience in leading and improving service delivery and information management across a complex business utilising a variety of technology.Extensive knowledge of IT service management, including service costing, planning, design and deployment.BenefitsGenerous training and development opportunitiesFriendly and collaborative working environmentFast paced environment with opportunity for professional growthHow to applyPlease apply online with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.To expedite the process, we will begin shortlisting and conducting interviews prior to the close of the advertisement.
