Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) Full time Do you want to be part of a collaborative engineering team working on the first major salt project developed in Australia in two decades?
Reporting to the Engineering General Manager, the Senior Engineer Electrical & Instrument Controls will provide engineering support to a sufficient level based on the approved contracting model for assigned contract packages and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the relevant packages including compliance to all BCI's processes, procedures and package targets.

The Company BCI Minerals Limited (ASX:BCI) is an Australian owned mineral resources company with salt and potash as its initial focus.
A future Tier One project, Mardie has been designed to produce 5.35Mtpa of high-purity salt and 140ktpa of Sulphate of Potash (SOP).

The Role We seek a versatile and multi-skilled Senior Engineer Electrical & Instrument Controls to join a high-performing and collaborative team.
The Senior Engineer Electrical & Instrument Controls is responsible for the delivery of assigned contract packages, safely, on-time and on-budget.
The role will provide engineering support to a sufficient level based on the approved contracting model for assigned contract packages and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the relevant packages including compliance to all BCI's processes, procedures and package targets.
You will be supervising the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs of electrical and instrumentation engineering projects and ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
Additionally, you will be providing high level technical support for all electrical and instrumentation engineering project work as required.
About You: You will be engineering degree qualified with 6+ years' experience as an Instrument & Electrical Engineer preferably within the resources sector.
Experience within the resources sector preferably in an EPCM environment.
The ideal candidate will have practical working experience with low voltage MCCs, VSDs, PLCs and field instrumentation.
You must be able to interpret and review detail design drawings and specifications for compliance and scope application.
You will also be required to coordinate and manage the interfaces between various vendor packages and participate in FATs, provide technical support during construction and assist with site commissioning.
You must have the ability to travel to site on a regular basis.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
