To understand more about how Ampol's policies, benefits and how we support our people, check out some key leader career stories on the Work180 website.About the roleThe Manufacturing Accountant (Cost Accountant), will deliver efficient, accurate, timely and meaningful accounting reporting, forecasts and budgets, to support and contribute towards the achievement of Ampol strategies.Key responsibilitiesMaintain the manufacturing precinct general ledger, including processing journal entries, preparing general ledger reconciliations and initiating corrective actionsAction the compilation of timely and accurate manufacturing financial information, including preparation of monthly actual and forecast financial reporting, analysis and commentaryPrepare the manufacturing precinct budget, including operating expenditureWork through complex issues to ensure best outcome for the business and financeManage and/or support improvement of financial systems, processes and reporting to meet business requirements and drive efficiencies within financeAbout youYou will have strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate with key stakeholders.
Your strong financial and commercial acumen will ensure you are able to influence positive business outcomes.
You will be able to manually process data overcoming system challenges and cost accounting.Key skills and experienceCA/CPA qualifiedExtensive experience in a finance based role in a large organisationProven experience in the preparation and delivery of accurate financial information including actual and forecast financial reportingExperience with budget preparation including expenditure and costingWorking experience with financial information processing systems/applicationsOur benefitsOur total remuneration is competitive.
