We pride ourselves on being one of Australia's leading Utility Installation and Mining Services Companies and providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients in the resources, infrastructure, and utilities sectors.The role will include both Electrical and Civil Supervision responsibilities: Supervise electrical installationsSupervise the installation and termination of distribution boardsQA/QC of electrical componentsSupervise the installation of pump stations, bores, VSDs, flow meters, pressure transducers, and instrumentationSupervise the installation of above-ground services including pump stations, flow meters, small light and power, pump sets, and instrumentation, and experience with commissioning small-sized projects.Other duties not related to Electrical Supervision include: Supervision of civil construction works including HDPE piping and dewatering infrastructure.Ensuring all personnel complete timesheets, Take 5's, JHAs, pre-starts, and all other documentation on time and to the required standard.Ensuring project execution is undertaken safely to the required standards, quality, and schedule.Completing project paperwork to the required standard and on time on a daily basis.Ensuring all operational activities meet required compliance standards in addition to understanding risks and opportunities for development.Assessing the standard, quality, and efficiency of all work for all operational staff.Conducting site safety meetings, correlating information, and providing the information to the project manager.Completing site safety audits, recording, and submitting results to HSE Advisors on a daily and weekly basis.Daily task management and allocation for site personnel in order to support and drive productivity efficiency of the project.Organising and carrying out monthly Toolbox Meetings to identify areas for improvement in the field.Reporting incidents and issues to relevant management and recording in Skytrust.Ensuring quality and close-out of Actions in Skytrust.Ensuring personnel are recording downtime and plant availability (MEX).Ensuring personnel are creating all work orders (MEX) and closing them out in a timely manner.Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance, and legislative requirements without exception.Ensure production targets are met.Ensure plant utilisation is optimised and damage is minimised.Ensure submission of daily and weekly reports as required.Conducting regular field reviews with teams.Your Qualifications Skills and Experience:Supervisory QualificationsSafety Leadership TrainingSection 44 and Schedule 26 CompetenciesConstruction CardAustralian Driver's LicenseFirst Aid and CPRLow Voltage Rescue5+ years' operational experience working on civil construction or mining projects3+ years prior supervisory and mentoring experience.Intermediate computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated ability to work as an effective Team Leader and efficiently direct teams.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsHigh Risk Work License - Basic Rigging, Dogging, Forklift, EWP - highly regardedWorking at Heights - highly regardedKCU employee benefits can include (dependent on your role):Employee Benefits - Corporate Private Health DiscountsProject allowances - white collar on ground rolesService Bonuses* - applicable for some rolesFantastic career developmentPermanent contract - with all leave entitlements (leave loading is permissible for blue collar on ground roles)Job security, ongoing work opportunitiesInternal training and developmentKCU Supporting a Diverse Workforce:At KCU, we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity.
