CKG is partnering with a renowned Australian hospitality and entertainment company that is a leader in their field.Our client is seeking a commercially-minded lawyer for a fixed-term maternity cover contract. They offer:The opportunity to gain experience in a highly sought-after industry.Exposure to a broad range of work, engaging with senior executives and business leaders.A supportive, dynamic culture with flexible/hybrid working options.Generous remuneration with parking and additional incentives.Reporting directly to the General Counsel and working alongside a high-performing legal team, you will provide commercial legal support across a variety of areas, including corporate, property, and regulatory matters. Key responsibilities include:Supporting the General Counsel in delivering legal strategy and managing external stakeholder relationships.Providing strategic legal advice and helping the business make risk-based decisions.Drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts and agreements.Managing legal risks in alignment with the company's risk profile.Representing the business in legal disputes, mediations, or court appearances as required.Ad hoc legal advice on corporate projects as required by the General Counsel.Our clients' requirements include:Minimum of 3-5+ years PQE in commercial, property, or corporate law.Admitted (or eligible for admission) to practice as a Solicitor in Australia.Experience at a reputable law firm handling complex legal matters.In-house or secondment experience is highly regarded.This is a unique opportunity to join a top Australian organisation, offering associate-level lawyers the chance to launch and grow their in-house legal careers.
