• Location: Can be based in St Andrews Hospital Brisbane or Buderim Hospital Sunshine Coast.
Some travel between will be required
• Remuneration: Competitive Salaried position + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging

Your part in St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital The Assistant Health Information Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Service (HIS).
This position supports the Health Information Manager in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of hospital health information, whilst contributing to strategic initiatives that overall enhance the quality of the information management service.
What makes a difference for us? Bachelor of Health Information Management (HIM) or equivalent - suitable for new graduateKnowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, ACS and AR-DRGsProficient in the collection, storage and management of healthcare data, with strong data analysis skills and a thorough understanding of legislative requirements, national standards, quality benchmarks and hospital policy / proceduresKnowledge of the impact of clinical documentation and coding on the private hospital revenue cycleTime management and prioritisation skills with an ability to remain focused in a busy environmentGood organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environmentSt Andrew's War Memorial Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital are proudly part of the UnitingCare family, we'd love you to be too.
