The role The Technical Lead contributes to building DEMIRS into a high-performance innovative organisation by providing support and maintenance for a comprehensive range of the Department's business applications, including the provision of a range of design and development activities and the transition of applications from development into operation which are aligned to Enterprise Architecture principles.
In this position, you will also assist with the strategic and operational planning of the branch.
Drawing on your leadership and interpersonal skills, you will play a vital role in supervising a team of applications support and development staff, including the scheduling and coordination of work packages.
Your technical expertise in information technology will enable you to undertake the analysis, design, and development of systems as well as the implementation and management of applications, in alignment with Enterprise Architecture principles.
Minimum Requirements To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
A detailed resume outlining your key achievements, work history, education and professional development and covering letter of no more than two (2) pages, addressing the following points:
Demonstrated in depth knowledge and experience in application development best practices, methodologies and frameworksPractical experience in analysis, design, development and support of systems in one or more of the following technologies: .NET, Java, JavaScript, Azure PaaS development, Low Code Platforms (Power Platform or Dynamics).Demonstrated good knowledge of designing and supporting services which are used in a Service Oriented Architecture or a Microservices Architecture.CLOSING DATE: 4.00 pm on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 (WST)
