Construction Project Coordinator- Space Coast

As a Paul Davis Restoration Project Coordinator, you will be tasked with professionally and compassionately helping property owners put their lives together after a flood, fire, or other life-changing event.
In this capacity, you will be working alongside our Restoration Project Managers in assisting in communicating with property owners, staff members, material providers, and subcontractors.
In addition, you will help with project scheduling, follow-up, and managing the paperwork flow.
Position OverviewThe Project Coordinator provides assistance to the Project Manager by coordinating project activities related to restoration projects.
Their main duties are to ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved.
The Project Coordinator handles multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges.
The ideal candidate will have to be a highly organized individual who can manage multiple projects at once in the absence of day-to-day guidance.
Responsibilities:Organize and maintain Construction Files (hard and soft copies)Phone calls to schedule subcontractors and to follow work flow progressDemonstrate patience and compassion with customersDeliver necessary paperwork to customers, to administrative department and to tradesProfessionally handle any and all complaintsAssist with scheduling of job through final completionRepresent the Paul Davis principles of honesty and integrityPrepare and/or edit internal scopes of work (MATVSLAB), estimates, budgets, letters, faxes, memos and emailsCommunicate with property owners/managers/tenants and insurance adjustersAct as a liaison between the customer and Project Manager to ensure project successAddress questions/concerns throughout the projectPerform tasks required by the Project Manager in support of project needsBe aware of all aspects of the scopes of work so proper assistance to the Project Manager can be providedResponsible to track project changes and produce updated schedulesReview project information and compile schedules in a timely mannerTrack the progress of all new and ongoing projects and maintain up-to-date notesSubmit any required information to the client as directed by the Project ManagerReport to the Project Manager for all issuesAssist with reception relief as neededAssist compliance manager with TPAAttend PAUL DAVIS training courses as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications And Required SkillsMinimum High School Diploma, Post-SecondaryMinimum 3+ years office-based experienceMinimum 40+ wpm typing speedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g.
Excel, Word, and Outlook)Experience using office equipment (telephone, copiers, scanners, fax, printers, etc.
