This position is based in our Cardiff's facility.
Key duties with this role will include: Development of detailed design drawings, technical specifications, scopes of work, instructions, Bill of materials and other documents required for projectsOverseeing Electrical Engineers, Draftspersons & SupervisorsManage projects in various stages from design to manufacture/FATKey liaison between Management, Client, Consultants and ContractorsProject Design and ManagementProduce project estimates and perform detailed measurementsSupport sales team with electrical estimating (control systems, MCC's and field panels) and review of client tender specificationsHigh level of technical problem solving, minimizing compliance issues, and preventing delaysEnsure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulationsProvide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems, equipment selection, and installation methodsPromote a safety culture among project team members and subcontractorsExperience Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline7+ years' detailed design experience in LV ManufacturingUnderstanding of and proven experience in Design & Manufacture of Electrical PanelsDemonstrated commercial experienceStrong understanding of Low Voltage power design and standards (including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, AS/NZS 61439)Proven demonstration of CAD + other software design packagesAbility to coordinate projectsAbility to manage & complete continuous improvementsAbility to manage a team & manufacturing scheduleAbility to lead teams and work within a multi-discipline project environmentHigh level communication and comfortable with client facingUnderstanding of scheduling & associated softwareWorkshop FAT & testing capabilityHigh level planning and organisational skillsBenefits: Excellent package + entitlements for the correct applicantCentrally based in Newcastle Head Office (Cardiff NSW 2285)Note: All applicant details will be treated with the strictest of confidence and will only be reviewed by key company management.
