Our head office is located on the Gold Coast with regional offices in the Western Downs, North Queensland, and the Northern Territory.

About the role:
The Marketing Manager at Biodiversity Australia will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating the organisation's story to the global community.
This role is pivotal in highlighting Biodiversity Australia's growth trajectory, diverse service offerings, and commitment to core values such as customer outcomes, environmental sustainability, and social impact with a particular focus on Indigenous communities and returned service personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with Senior Management to create a marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives.
Define target audiences and ensure messaging resonates globally.
Brand Management: Develop and enforce brand guidelines for consistency.
Oversee marketing collateral production and develop an internal marketing plan to enhance employee engagement.
Content Creation and Storytelling: Create compelling narratives showcasing Biodiversity Australia's achievements.
Use digital and traditional media to communicate stories effectively.
Digital Marketing and Online Presence: Drive digital campaigns for brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Manage the organisation's website, social media, and digital platforms.
Public Relations and Communication: Build relationships with media, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
Act as a spokesperson, representing the organisation at various events and in media.
Market Research and Budget Management: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop and manage the marketing budget efficiently.
About you:
You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
If it's a Master's degree, even better
You'll ideally have a minimum of 7 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in environmental or sustainability-focused organisations.
You'll thrive in not just working in a team but individually owning and driving a space.
You'll have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
You'll have strong leadership abilities with a proven track record in marketing strategy development and implementation.
You'll be a creative thinker with proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques.
You'll have a strategic mindset with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
You'll be a highly conscientious and innovative thinker.
You'll be outcomes-focused and passionate about environmental sustainability and social impact.
You'll enjoy working collaboratively with a team and have strong interpersonal skills.
