Our Mission is to be the trusted partner in Sustainability and Efficiency.The OpportunityBased in Ingleburn, our Sydney Distribution Centre is the home of our Local Adaptation Centre producing best in class lead times of Air Circuit Breakers to Customers across Australia and New Zealand.
The facility plays a crucial role in tailoring our circuit breaker solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers, including switchboard manufacturers, electrical contractors, and industrial clients.Reporting to the Pacific Director of Manufacturing as our new Operations Manager, you will take a lead role in leading the manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, service, quality and operational efficiency.
With the opportunity to leverage your proven skills and experience, you will make an Impact as you enjoy a new career challenge with a growing global organisation.This exciting new career opportunity will see you:Supervise day-to-day operational activities, coordinating resources to ensure timely and high-standard completion of workAct as a role model in driving our Values and ensuring efficient operations within a unique production environment that produces specialised, robust and high-quality productsOversee a variety of LEAN and other continuous improvement projects that supports our ongoing growth and streamlines operations to deliver customer-focused outcomesImplement and monitor HSE management practices, striving for excellence in quality and overall customer satisfactionOur ideal candidate will possess:Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with previous experience in a similar position, ideally within a similar manufacturing environmentProven leadership skills and related experience across operations and frontline managementKnowledge of and experience in LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvementA curious approach with a proven ability to interpret standards, identify gaps and propose value-adding solutions that make a tangible impact on operationsWell-developed interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with varied stakeholder groupsThose with a knowledge of Circuit Breakers will be viewed favourablyAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for Interview.Schneider Electric does not accept unsolicited resumes/candidate profiles from external agencies or suppliers via any method.Benefits of Working for Schneider ElectricThe list is long but importantly we offer a competitive salary package, access to our employee share plan and salary continuance insurance.
