Mining - Processing (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeTHE OPPORTUNITY:Reporting to the Senior Project Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Technician is responsible for taking ownership & working to execute the site metallurgical test work program. Their role is to effectively assist the metallurgy team with their goals through the completion of test work & reporting, in turn, helping the metallurgists to ensure that concentrate production and associated processing unit operations are controlled in a cost-effective and efficient manner.This is a permanent position, with a 8/6 roster based at our Pilgangoora Operation.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:The Metallurgical Technician will build key relationships with relevant stakeholders.Wet & dry sizing.Bench scale flotation test work.Bench scale HLS test work.Instrumentation verification (pH probes).Technical report writing & data entry (routine & ad hoc).Metallurgical laboratory administration (stock management & housekeeping).ABOUT YOU:Previous metallurgical laboratory work experience.Show a high level of attention to detail, quality, and commitment to continuous improvement.Hands-on & autonomous approach to work.Ability to create effective working relationships in a diverse workforce.Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.Current WA Driver's licence.WHAT WE OFFER:Quarterly cash incentives bonusGreat accommodation and recreational facilitiesTake a front-row seat in the sustainable energy transformationPROMOTING DIVERSITY:Pilbara Minerals recognises that talented people come from diverse backgrounds, who can contribute to our successes in different ways.
