About the role University Partnerships Australasia (UPA) HR is accountable for the development, functioning, and governance of human resources practices across the Division.
Reporting to the Head of HR (UPA), the Process Improvement Manager is accountable for ensuring compliance between industrial instruments and HR/Payroll functions.
The role will be responsible for implementing new and/or improved processes and ways of working to meet the needs of the business.
A key responsibility of the role is reviewing findings and delivering agreed actions from the recent internal and external Compliance audits.
This role is critical in ensuring UPA has rigorous compliance processes in place.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
The role will encompass HR & Payroll ProcessesHR & Payroll RolesCompliance AssuranceProcess Mapping and DocumentationStakeholder Engagement and CommunicationProject Planning and ManagementChange Management and TrainingData Collection and AnalysisPerformance Monitoring and ReportingRegulatory and Board ComplianceThe person we seek will ideally have the following Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Audit or another related fieldMinimum 8 years' experience in process improvement, project management or compliance, including Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologiesDemonstrated ability to lead and execute projects independentlyAbility to distil information and map complex processes into simplistic methodsConfident and tactful written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective consultation, negotiation and rapport-building skillsAbility to thrive in a team-based environment whilst in a stand-alone functionAbility to use sound judgement and influencing techniques to attain desired outcomesStrong commercial acumen and attention to detailWhat we can offer you A collaborative workplace with passionate peopleBenefits programs and EAPDiversity and Inclusion Navitas promotes and embraces an inclusive and diversified workforce.
