Parks Victoria is looking for a Ranger to be part of a fantastic team to develop and manage the new Suburban Parks

As a Ranger, you will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and will be accountable for personal performance.
You will work in a team environment; your day-to-day tasks will range from visitor experience to hands-on environmental work.
Your core duties include stakeholder management (contractors, volunteers, internal stakeholders) and works including pest plant and animal management and park asset maintenance.
We're looking for someone with:
Experience in customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures.
Practical experience in field-based work, use of power tools/hand tools, maintenance, and operation of small equipment such as chainsaws/brush cutters.

About the Branch:
The Suburban Parks team has an exciting and challenging future with the development and maintenance of 1000 hectares over three Park areas.
