Support Worker

With a focus on supporting our clients to stay independent in their own homes for as long as possible, our Support Workers provide a range of services.
$28.94 - $34.76 per hour + 99c per km and travel timePart-time with stable shifts to suit your hoursDevelopment/leadership opportunities; supportive multi-disciplinary teamWe currently have multiple opportunities for permanent part-time support workers to join our Home and Community Care team in the Grafton area.
Duties and responsibilities can include: Help at home: housekeeping, grocery shopping or meal preparationPersonal Care: personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime or medication administrationTransport: appointments or shopping tripsSocial and wellbeing: accompany clients on outings or assist with our Healthy Living for Seniors activitiesQualifications and experience: Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalentSimilar experience providing client-centred careCurrent First Aid certificateDriver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicleFurther to this we offer: Hands-on training, development and mentoring in a leading providerJoin an organisation that has a positive impact on our clients and the communityNot-for-profit salary packaging entitlementsPaid travel time and reimbursement of kilometresWhat to expect: A National Police CheckValid Working with Children CheckFirst Aid CertificateWorking Rights CheckHow to apply: If you see yourself in this role, we'd love to hear from you.
