About the Role:Davies Stewart are partnering with McMahon Services to recruit for a Project Manager.
As a Project Manager, you will report to the Construction Manager and be responsible for strategically managing and delivering assigned projects from contract award through to execution and close-out on time and within budget, while aligning company outcomes and objectives.About McMahon Services:McMahon Services is one of Australia's largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.

McMahon Services are firmly committed to looking after the success and wellbeing of their staff, from safety in the workplace through to professional development, ongoing training, and equal opportunities.What McMahon Services can offer: Attractive and competitive salaryOpportunities for career growth and advancementWork across a diverse range of projects and customersFull-time permanent positionKey Responsibilities:- Project managementMonitor and review progress reports and adjust staffing/resourcing, financial, schedule as and when requiredRecommend and implement the agreed business process improvement strategy.Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach as and when requiredApply relevant company systems and procedures and approve new site procedures/ instructions where necessary.- Commercial, Procurement and Contract ManagementDrive and support contracts managementManage contractors and other project vendors and service suppliersReview and approve RFI, Notices of Delay, variations and EOT submissionsReview and approve Progress Claims to ensure claims are submitted in accordance with individual project contractual Terms & ConditionsRequest and prepare Subcontract Agreements, according to company delegations.Review and approve supplier/subcontractor invoices, including capturing retention to be held.Manage/review retention releases.- Team managementLead and manage the project team for the effective project deliveryConduct project reviews and create detailed reports for senior management.- Financial managementReview cost control against budget, monitoring productivity against the project plan.Prepare reports as and when required for internal and external use.Monitor project cashflow and manage payment from customers- Stakeholder managementMaintains a strong relationship with customers and contractorsMonitor and manage Industrial relations requirements and ensure site complianceSkills & Experience:Strong communication skills including the ability to collaborate with othersStrong work ethic and a can-do attitudeProven experience in major construction/infrastructure project delivery, preferably in civil engineeringTertiary Qualifications in Engineering and/or Project ManagementStrong experience in contract administration and managementKnowledge of the engineering industry and Australian Standards is requiredProficiency in using project management suite of software ERP systems and project management platformsApply NowTo register your interest, please forward your current resume and cover letter via the application link.Your confidential application will be acknowledged by email and shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone from the Davies Stewart team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
