Capacity Development Officer - (Identified)Would you like to join the Metro North Health team and contribute towards achieving health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people?The Capacity Development Officer will be instrumental in empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff while enhancing the cultural capacity of Metro North Health. The role will focus on the continuous improvement of internal processes and systems to meet strategic and operational objectives, with a commitment to creating culturally safe practices and addressing systemic racism across all levels of the organisation.About the roleThe purpose of the team is to enhance cultural safety and capacity development within Metro North Health by leading and implementing innovative initiatives that integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into organisational practices. They focus on empowering staff through professional development, supporting trauma-informed care, and addressing institutional racism.
