Business Development Manager Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and fostering meaningful client relationships?
We're on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the team and help take our client organisation to the next level.

About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This is a dynamic position where you will act as a bridge between clients and the operations team, ensuring exceptional service delivery while pursuing new business prospects.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Growth: Develop and execute long-term strategies to enhance market position and drive sustainable financial growth.
Define organisational strategic goals in alignment with company objectives.
Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the client base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Ensure client satisfaction to minimise turnover and foster loyalty.
Actively engage with clients to present tailored solutions and predict future needs.
New Business Development: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new markets.
Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and networking.
Develop and deliver compelling PowerPoint and sales presentations.
Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and tender documentation.
Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the organisation.
Negotiate contracts with potential and existing clients in person, via email, or phone.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and meet sales targets.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for new business accounts.
Operational Support: Assist the operations team in onboarding new clients and managing governance meetings.
Support the development of marketing initiatives and direct sales campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in sales or marketing, including cold calling, prospecting, and delivering persuasive sales presentations.
Be responsible for all tender and bid creation.
Strong analytical skills for market research and proposal development.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of an organisation.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively under pressure.
A valid driver's licence is essential.
Key Performance Expectations: Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and weekly call quotas.
Maintain regular contact with clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
Ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of new business clients.
Present a professional and polished image at all times.
