We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.Applications are open for a Locum Consultant Specialist in Aged Care / Geriatric Medicine to join the dynamic Health of Older Persons Department at Alfred Health to work Full Time (38 hours per week) backfilling sabbatical leave from 3 March 2025 through to 31 August 2025.
The Health of Older Persons Department supervises Advanced Trainees in Geriatric Medicine and values a commitment to quality patient-oriented care through collaboration and research.Suitable applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
