Few and Far is a distinctive destination combining old-world charm with contemporary design.
Located within the Rosebery Engine Yards—a historic site of industrial innovation—our showroom is part of a new development that merges heritage with modernity.
The showroom also serves trade and wholesale customers of our sister brand Indigo Love.
Role Overview:
The Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing daily showroom operations while catering to retail, trade, and wholesale clients.
The ideal candidate will have a background in interior design, a passion for customer service, and a knack for managing high standards and driving sales.
Trade responsibilities include managing appointments and supporting sourcing needs for interior designers and stylists working with Indigo Love products.
Key Responsibilities: Foster an inclusive environment by amplifying diverse voices and perspectives.Identify gaps in styling knowledge within the team and provide training to enhance expertise.Share relevant product information to boost the team's ability to assist customers and drive sales.Store Sales & Customer Assistance: Stay updated on product features and benefits, utilising this knowledge to drive sales.Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.Keep clientele informed about promotions and new product arrivals.Retail Store Environment & Assistance: Maintain store standards, including visual merchandising and inventory management.Support stock receiving, stocktakes, and transaction processing.Assist with covering shifts when necessary.Business Operations: Analyse store and trade sales data to understand customer trends and influence merchandising decisions.Leverage walk-in traffic and outreach opportunities to drive sales.Consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, by identifying growth opportunities and optimising strategies.Adapt scheduling to meet business needs and maintain a customer-first philosophy.Communication & Relationships: Communicate customer preferences to the leadership team to enhance in-store offerings.Build strong collaborations with the sales team and foster open communication.Collaborate with trade clients, particularly interior designers and stylists, managing appointments to source Indigo Love products.
Assist in curating events that reflect local customer interests.Reprioritise tasks to support store objectives and execute the shared vision effectively.Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years in a similar role, ideally within furniture, homewares, or interior design.A background in interior design is highly desirable.Strong leadership, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in retail management software.Full-time availability, with flexibility for weekends and extended hours.This role is perfect for a creative and driven individual looking to lead in a unique retail environment that blends history with modern innovation.
