Red Circle Recycling – Gillman, SA
Are you experienced in crushing plant operations and ready to lead a small, dynamic team?
Red Circle Recycling, a leader in concrete recycling and processing in South Australia, is looking for a Fixed Crushing Plant Operator to oversee and ensure the efficient operation of our fixed crushing plant.
About the Role
As a Fixed Crushing Plant Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring our crushing plant operates efficiently for 6–7 hours daily.
This includes :
Conducting pre-start checks on the crushing plant and associated equipment each morning.
Monitoring conveyor belt alignment and tracking.
Ensuring the cone crusher remains free of foreign materials.
Checking bearings and pan feeders for blockages or wear.
Leading a team of two pickers, ensuring contaminants (e.g., plastics, timber) are removed effectively.
Overseeing end-of-day cleaning and preparation for the next day's operations, including housekeeping and cleaning screening mats.
Key Requirements
Experience working with crushing equipment, particularly cone crushers, jaw crushers, and conveyor systems.
Basic mechanical skills with the ability to use tools and equipment for minor maintenance.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Availability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work Saturdays as required.
