Location: The Royce Aged Care, Penrith
Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday

At The Royce, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care for our residents, and we are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our team. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play an essential role in supporting the kitchen staff to ensure that nutritious, well-balanced meals are prepared and served to our residents in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary requirements and food safety standards.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.Support with deliveries, food storage, and stock rotation to minimize waste.Help with setting up and clearing dining areas for residents.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and workplace health and safety procedures.Assist kitchen staff with meal delivery and preparation tasks as required.About You: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within aged care or healthcare settings, is desirable but not essential.Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Compassionate and respectful approach to working with older adults.Excellent communication skills, with a positive and approachable attitude.Why Join Us?
