General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)
About the role
As the Head of Operations and Customer Care at J'adore Hair Supplies, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position based in Varsity Lakes, Queensland, and will play a crucial role in driving the company's continued success and growth.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity across the business Manage and coordinate the customer service team to deliver a seamless and positive experience for all clients Oversee inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate product delivery Support the founder with the international logistics and warehousing Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined workflows Analyse key performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions Lead and mentor the operations and customer service teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment including conducting team one-on-ones Manage the office maintenance and upkeep Prepare reports for end of month financials Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and support the overall business objectives What we're looking for
Extensive experience in a similar role, leading operations and customer service functions within a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Proficient in data analysis and using metrics to drive decision-making Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred What we offer
