Our Group's over 3000 team members consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.Overview of our roleAs the Fleet Coordinator, you will be empowered to provide expert advice, leadership, analysis, and support across the Enterprise to ensure that the requirements of the fleet are provided for to support the successful operations of the Enterprise. We are seeking a dedicated Fleet Coordinator to deliver best practices in plant and fleet management. In this role, you will oversee fleet activities, conduct trend analysis, and lead the surplus fleet and disposal process. You'll collaborate with Business Unit Managers to specify and procure fleet, specialised plant, and equipment while ensuring all builds meet timelines, budgets, and specifications.You will develop and maintain fleet service schedules to minimise disruption, ensure compliance with Australian Standards and WHS legislation, and drive process improvements for safety and efficiency. Working closely with our Fleet Management Company, you'll analyse data on fuel consumption, maintenance, and utilisation to identify opportunities for cost savings and optimisation. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a passion for fleet management, we'd love to hear from youA little about youProven experience in fleet management, including maintenance, fuel, toll, inspection, and equipment management, with a focus on Plant and HCV.Expertise in preparing and administering budgets for vehicles, plant, and equipment, alongside strong contract management skills to oversee large external service providers.Familiarity with Plant Risk Assessment tools such as Plant Assessor and proficiency in computer-based systems like FMS and SAP.Strong relationship-building skills, working effectively with both blue- and white-collar teams.Relevant qualifications in a trade or business degree, or extensive trade or business management experience.Qualifications / certifications & SkillsStrong customer service focus with excellent stakeholder engagement and support skills.High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism, paired with a positive attitude.Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities, solve complex problems, and make clear decisions under pressure.Advanced computer skills and a strong technical understanding of procurement tools and processes.Demonstrated experience in procurement, including tendering and contract management.Why you should come and work for usOur people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
