About the RoleWe have a current opportunity for Electrical Supervisors to join our Fixed Plant team, these unique opportunities within Port Maintenance are ideally suited to an individual seeking to develop their leadership skills to further support their career aspirations.
Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent Execution, you will be responsible for:
Ensure conformance with the BHP policies and procedures and relevant WHS and statutory obligations.Responsible for upkeep and compliance to the electrical area log book.As an Appointed Person, ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations.Responsible for electrical plant health and development of long-term reliability of fixed plant.Maintaining a high profile in the promotion of safe working conditions and practices.Ensuring compliance to the Safety Management Plans during shutdowns.Liaise with Operations and Maintenance teams to validate and evaluate scope.Communication and engagement with all relevant stakeholders.Operating within an established maintenance management system.Monitoring and measuring standards of work and performance of team members.About YouThe successful candidate will possess the following:
Current Western Australian Electrical Licence.S26 Electrical statutory appointment, experience or ability to obtain.Strong leadership experience in leading & developing teams.Excellent knowledge of plant and equipment.Highly developed analytical problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Safety focus with the ability to identify and implement safe work practices.Ability to follow plans clearly and concisely within a maintenance environment.About Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
