Of all the hiring managers I have worked with over the last three to four years, this one has to be my favourite. And I'm not the only person who thinks that, as she is highly regarded throughout the business as a top leader.You will learn so much from this person because of their experience and commitment to supporting and developing you.You can rest assured she has your back and won't let you go under when things get overwhelming.Apart from that, she's a top person who is a pleasure to work with and makes going to work enjoyable, even when it gets tough.The role she is trying to fill has recently become available because the last person was promoted, so there are progression opportunities.Despite the title, the role doesn't involve delivery as such. Instead, it supports a small team of 4-10 people (Project/Product/Program/Scrum/QA) in delivering products against an investment portfolio for one of four lines of business.As well as leading and managing the team, you will work closely with the Business Manager on the strategy and roadmap. It's like a portfolio manager, but the Business Manager focuses on the five-year roadmap, budgets, and strategy, while you focus on quarterly and monthly delivery, line management, and ensuring best practice delivery in line with enterprise enablement.There's a focus on data products, so experience delivering data-aligned portfolios is expected for familiarity with tech and data language and constraints.The team delivers data products and services rather than tech projects, so it needs experience in Agile, value stream-aligned delivery.Hybrid 3/2 office/home working available.Requirements:A career in delivery, with a strong understanding of Agile value stream-aligned deliveryExperience with enterprise-class product delivery, particularly financial services.Excellent stakeholder/line management and leadership skillsAdaptability and agilityStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilityKnowledge of data products and servicesThere's a whole load more I can tell you about this opportunity that I simply can't fit in here, so please get in touch if you want to learn more.We are looking at client interviews w/c 6/1/25, so please apply via the link.
