About the role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and high performing Paralegal to join the General Insurance (Recoveries) team on a full-time basis in the Melbourne office.
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative support to Principals and the wider team of lawyers within the General Insurance (Recoveries) team.
This is a pivotal legal support role with varied workload, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing files with supervision Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including clients Drafting letters and documents About You
Ideally, you will have:
A genuine interest in working in insurance law or litigation Prior experience in debt recovery is favourable Ability to work fast and meticulously with high attention to detail Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career A hard working and dedicated approach to your practice Education
