Assistant Front Of House Manager

This pivotal role exists to assist our Front of House Manager with the onsite delivery of all events & management of wider food & beverage staff.
This role consists of 90% onsite event work & 10% administrative tasks.
Overview of Role Duties & Requirements: Ensure Events Run to ScheduleMotivate & Lead a Team, while Improving Personal DevelopmentBrief all FOH staff onsite prior to the event to ensure all team members are aware of their roles & responsibilities of the eventDelegate tasks to staff per event, ensuring impartiality, but evaluating staff abilities & progressionWork closely with the Front of House Manager, General Manager, Kitchen Manager & Events ManagementEnforce Company Health, Safety and Security ProceduresRegular reporting to FOH Manager regarding performance, staff suitability, highlighting success stories & addressing areas for improvementHold an Australian Open Drivers LicenceHave a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role around high-end dining restaurants, hotels, functions or eventsPossess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateA passion for great food, wine and beer is essentialProvide food and beverage service to different styles of event e.g., Carry a minimum of 3 plates for dining eventsDemonstrate excellent written and oral communicationAbility to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional mannerComfortable in high pressure events, always thinking forwardPrior food hygiene training and/or accreditation is essentialStrong interpersonal skills, being able to deal with clients and staff across all levels and demographicsProven leadership qualities and ability to delegate tasksManage a team across a variety of tasks and spaceBe hardworking, physically fit and reliable – This role is 90% onsite, 10% administrative tasksMaintain immaculate personal presentationDoes this sound like you?
