About the Role:
Due to the increasing demand for tax advisory services, this role has been created to spearhead the growth of their tax function and further support their clients.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a small team of tax professionals and provide expert tax advice to private businesses and high-net-worth family groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxation Planning & Optimisation: Design and implement effective tax planning strategies to maximise client outcomes.
Taxation Structuring: Advise on optimal tax structuring solutions for complex business and personal situations.
General Taxation Advice: Provide tailored tax advice across a broad spectrum of tax-related matters.
Indirect Taxation Advice: Navigate the complexities of GST, FBT, and other indirect taxes to provide compliant and strategic advice.
International Taxation Structuring & Advice: Advise on cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, and international tax strategies.
Tax Consolidation: Assist clients with tax consolidation processes and compliance.
Division 7A: Provide expertise on Division 7A implications and strategies for private company distributions.
Trust Taxation: Deliver strategic advice on trust structures and their taxation implications.
Employee Share Scheme: Guide on the design and tax implications of employee share schemes.
Mergers & Acquisitions Structuring and Tax Advice: Support clients through M&A transactions with tax-efficient structuring and due diligence.
Due Diligence Assistance: Conduct thorough tax due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
About You:
10+ years experience in Private Clients Tax with a comprehensive understanding of the above tax areas.
Skilled at fostering strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
Proven experience in developing and leading high-performing teams.
Capable of crafting and executing a robust growth strategy for the tax function.
