Job Description 12 month contract starting January 2025Active NV1 is essentialCanberra locationOur Federal Government client is seeking 2 Cyber Security Analysts with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a cyber assessor role conducting risk assessments and Essential Eight audits within government.
It is expected that the successful candidates will possess active NV1 Clearance.
If successful, you will join a high-performing and fast-paced ICT cyber security team.
You will be required to conduct Essential Eight Maturity Assessments for a large number of ICT systems to understand the maturity of the applications within our Essential Eight Program.
To be successful you must have knowledge and experience in: 2 years minimum experience working in a cyber assessor role conducting risk assessments and Essential Eight audits within government.Recent experience and understanding of the current PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight.Experience liaising with non-technical and technical stakeholders regarding their system's Essential Eight maturity and treatment recommendations.Presenting essential eight findings to a senior executive audience.Skills and Capability Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.Sound judgment and initiative to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high-quality outcomes.Ability to manage a large workload.Strong communication skills and issue resolution capabilities.Role Particulars Submission deadline: 03/12
Duration: 12 months from January 2025
Location: Canberra, A.C.T
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship with active NV1 Security Clearance
Working arrangements: Candidates must be Canberra-based, with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week if justifiable.
