Nutrien Water is the National Leader in the field of Irrigation/Water Systems and management in Australia and part of Nutrien Ag Solutions.
For over 35 years we have been providing a broad range of markets with innovative and sustainable water and irrigation management solutions.
The industries which benefit from our expertise include agriculture, turf, mining & drilling, water treatment, civil construction, plumbing trades and residential homeowners.
About the opportunity:
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and committed Field Services Technician to join our team.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work as part of a team with a primary focus on safe work practices in all daily tasks, whether that's within a workshop, branch environment or in field installations.
You will also:
Conduct Irrigation Fabrications & Installations, both within a workshop environment or on-site.
Conduct repairs, both within a workshop environment or on-site as necessary, and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Perform installations of pumping / irrigation systems and other related components as called upon by our customer base.
Importantly, you will contribute to the maintenance of a safe workplace, inclusive of the safe operation of company plant and equipment.
About You:
You are a driven, determined individual with a passion for providing the highest level of customer service and a strong focus on safety.
You love solving problems and have excellent planning and organisation skills.
You will ideally come with:
Previous relevant work experience, ideally with relevant Trade Qualifications, possibly in the Plumbing, Building or Mechanical trades.
Experience in welding & installation of HDPE irrigation systems is desirable, however, we are more than confident we can provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Travel will be required at times for projects with time staying away.
Current driver's licence is essential.
Truck, Forklift, and Crane licences are an advantage.
