About the role
This is a full-time Fixed Term Employment 1 + 1 potential extension.
On-site opportunity to join the CBRE team as a Sr. / Project Engineer - Fit Out / M&E (Data Centre- Sydney).
Based in Western Sydney, you will be responsible for delivering complex data centre projects with a focus on fit-out and mechanical and electrical engineering.
What you'll be doing
Manage the delivery of complex data centre projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate project activities Review designs, drawings, and specifications to identify and resolve issues Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems Monitor project budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations Support the training and development of junior project engineers What we're looking for
8+ years of post-qualification experience in project engineering, ideally within the data centre or commercial construction sectors Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through to completion Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline What we offer
